A Nurse for over 42 years, I am currently working as a  Public Health Nurse in Kinsale Primary Care Cork, recently completing a Masters in the Psychotherapy of Relationship Mentoring. 

 

The two years of the master's was so profound, bringing to consciousness what was unconscious. In reality, it highlighted the care and nursing I needed to look at was what I needed to do for myself.

 

My co-creative journey has been enriched by my fellow travellers over the last number of years, and they taught me the realness of the relationship that needed most attention was the relationship with myself.

Thanks to my beautiful brother Francis whose unconditional love has been a constant inspiration, to do it better in my nursing career and to help others do it better in theirs.

 

I am currently writing my autobiography and have secured a publisher.

It's about resilience, understanding of my story, and the most important relationship of all: the relationship with myself.

The true meaning of love is that love trumps all.
